FMH Entrance Test

FMH conducts its Entrance test every year for admissions in MBBS and BDS programs. 150 seats for MBBS and 75 seats for BDS are offered in FMH. 

Pattern of FMH Entrance Test

• Biology: 10 MCQs
• Chemistry: 10 MCQs
• Physics: 10 MCQs
• English: 15 MCQs
• General Knowledge: 15 MCQs
• Total MCQs: 60
• Time allotted: 1 Hour

The test is computer based. Students are made to sit according to their roll numbers and the seating plan made by FMH.

For bio we are following the syllabus of MCAT only.
For the test of English you have to prepare a portion of grammar which we will mention. Like in first test you have to understand the concept of usage of prepositions. We'll test you by giving some sentences and you have to choose which of them is correct w.r.t usage of preposition.

Pattern of Test
Each test will carry 50 mcqs and you'll have 35 minutes to solve them. We will be adding questions from past papers as well to give you an idea what sort of questions are asked in the exams.

This schedule is basically for those who arent going to any academy and preparing on their own. However other people can also join us in order to check their preparation .

Test Session

The test session will start from Tuesday i.e. 9^th of July.
The first test will be from Chm chapter 1 part 1. On the second day it will be Physics chapter 1 part 1. The third day will be Bio/math chapter 1 part 1. Fourth day will be the day for test of English, the syllabus for English will be announced with the complete schedule.
The tests will be from complete chapters as we have students from different fields and different areas. We can’t restrict the tests to MCAT syllabus this time unfortunately.

A few Points about the Test Session and the Testing System

The Test Session will be Starting on 25th of January.
The pattern of the tests is already shared with you people i.e. we'll start with the first year course and the quarter  book and half book tests will be conducted as soon as the chapter wise tests of those portions are covered. The Schedule will clear you what I mean.
The time for the Chapter wise tests will be 35 minutes and the number of mcqs in these tests will be 50.

The test which will be conducted daily will be comprising of 2 sections :
  1) Science Portion
  2) English Portion
Daily you people have to prepare the 10 words of English from the MCAT word list. This will be helpful for the pre engineers too.As this word list also contains words from SAT which are normally asked in Engineering Tests.

Once you finish the test and submit it you will be shown the correct and wrong answers plus there will be an option to discuss that question in forum. If you will click on that link you will be directed to our facebook page ( Entry test preparation ) and you can make a post there. When any of the admins will be online he/she will clear you problem.
Secondly if you feel the answer of any question is marked wrong by we people then there will be an option at the right of the page to send a message to admin. You can inform about the errors in that. When you will attempt the test you will learn about all the features used there. Here's the schedule of first three weeks. I did not add complete schedule because that would make the post much lengthy. You'll be provided the remaining schedule soon In Sha Allah :)
